That green is back
Since people were asking about it, I've redone quite a number of pieces in that bluish green that was my favourite three years ago. Well, as colors go, it portrays my mood nowdays: stormy blue and green.

New clay
I've been working with new chamotte clay, it's blackish brown, but after firing becomes sandy yellow and pink. The cups are a bit thick to my taste, so I won't be continuing, but it was fun making small vases and plates with this clay.

Two white glazes, one with Zn, that becomes grey on this clay and the other with Ti, that gives a rustic yellow beige.

Here presented on handspun fabrics from Atelier Tissage et Tradition.

Sprinkled blue
I have started using a new clay (GB8 from Solargil) in our workshop, all thanks to Herta, and the result is much lighter cups!
And I tried new color combinations, but I think I'll stick with the white. In pottery fairs it doesn't look appealing, but it works best on the table.

Some white Ti cups of the same batch

And jugs.

A streak of luck
I love doing this. And then cross my fingers and wait for the outcome, sometimes for the better, sometimes not, but surprise makes it only more interesting.

Crystalline glaze
Thought I'd share some more photos of crystal glazed plates. Since in my workshop there's no possibility of crystallizing glazes, that is what I tend to buy in pottery fairs this year. So far I'm the joyful owner of 4 hypnotizing ceramics... =)

This cup is butterflies

This one is like a nebula

And these 2 pot holders are frost and chrysantemums

Milly-la-Forêt
This weekend was a pottery fair at Milly-la-Forêt, the "capital" of medicinal and aromatic herbs and home to Jean Cocteau.

This market hall was built in the XV century!
