Playing around with patterns. I definitely have an affinity with stemmed blossoms... Next step is mastering the same process in PS, not that I don't know how to do it, Illustrator is just so much faster!

Other people's pots and stuff

Was at a local pottery fair this weekend and of course I didn't return with empty hands. Because second most enjoyable thing after making pottery, is buying some pottery =)

So nice to see a glaze finally working! It was superb on a tester, a catastrophe the first time on some bowls... that were still as bad glazed and fired a third time... and now I managed to apply the right layer of the stuff to have these hues of parme and green.




And this one is a slight intruder, being of a different glaze, but still from the same series of base and oxydes used.
