Fields of green 2

Two variations of the same central part and different side flowers.

I tried several new flowers, all unknown to me except clover, tansy and plantain...

winter fruit

I've been testing new glazes, the result was rather surprising and my first thought was "oh, there goes my 4-hour effort.." but the fruit looks striking against these purple hues.

Winter sea

My sea is more snowy than in this painting by Aivazovski but I felt the peach hues were quite similar.

Coquelicot series

A special commission for someone who loves those red field flowers.

Fields of green

A little change from poppies:

And I could considerably speed up my work thanks to my husband's genius:

Now I can easily flip the frame and do my knots without unfastening the clamp.

My cups of tea

Still searching for the perfect mug. Smooth to touch, light to hold and roomy, because we're such heavy tea drinkers in my family. Actually in my grandmother's village in the not so far east, drinking tea is synonym of eating.

And leaves.

Nasturtium series. The process

One of my favorite flowers, because it blooms from early spring to (very) late autumn. And the smell is so delicate!

My kusamono update

Ranunculus inundatus, that grows well underwater, but better still in the air. This courageous guy survived lack of water, aphids and is now winning against oidium.

Hydrocotyle verticillata, also an aquatic plant:

A ginko found in the park, and an unknown South African succulent, thrifted in a garage sale:

And something that got a second life out of a frying pan :)

It took ages to sprout and I can't wait for it to flower.

Walnut speckled blue

Things are starting slowly at the workshop. The holidays in Spain were so intense, that I had trouble returning to pottery again =) This stoneware was thrown before the summer break and glazed last week, and I'm very pleased with the "old painting pistolet spitting" effect even though this pistolet is in the dustbin by now.

The bottoms are glazed to prevent any leaking.
