Bits of orange and red

Fresh from Keukenhof gardens and more to come. It was my first time visiting this park and I went into a little photographic frenzy, crawling all over flower beds and shooting from every angle, for it's a florist's version of Eden, zillions of bulb flowers, incredible orchids and roses with the longest stems I ever saw.

iznik

Our workshop has been on hiatus for more than a month now due to problems with electricity, but it's difficult to stay weaned of pots and cups for a long time, so I had a stroll to the Musée de Sèvres. So here are some iznik patterns, a bit blurry but still lovely.

In the midst of this cold

These geraniums flowered all summer, autumn and they are still at it! But since it's getting icier by the minute I have them inside the house, now.

Images of my new year

For my winter break I had lots of mountains. For starters the very snow laden Alpes, a bit of Pyrenees viewen from above and for dessert lovely sunshine in the mountains of Valencia, Spain. So that's why my latest pottery looks like this. Very lemonny.
